Hajj fares are set annually and depend on Saudi service charges, airfares and the prevailing exchange rate. Fares are confirmed in writing at the point of registration.

Every year, Nigerians who intended to perform Hajj do not travel, simply because they registered after the Saudi portal closed. Saudi authorities do not extend deadlines once the portal shuts.

Where a person has died without performing Hajj, or is permanently unable to travel through age or chronic illness, Islamic law permits Hajj to be performed on their behalf. This is Badal Hajj.
